Katie Price planning 50th birthday party ahead of time to cut costs

Katie Price confesses to ‘exciting’ thing she’s done

Katie Price is hoping to secure a “Pricey deal” to celebrate the landmark milestone of her 50th birthday as she has faced money woes in recent years.

The model was once said to be worth an estimated £45million after a successful modelling and reality television career.

But years of work opportunities drying up and a string of divorces have seen the 45-year-old’s wealth plummet.

Speaking on future events she is planning, Katie said on her podcast: “I might start planning my 50th now, find a venue so I get it cheaper, because I’m sure in five years the prices will go up.

“If I book it now I will get it cheaper. Get a deal, love a Pricey deal.“

In July, Katie appeared remotely in court for a hearing over her £3.2million debt repayment at the Royal Courts of Justice today after the hearing was postponed in April for the fifth time.

Katie previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month but her creditors claim she has not been sticking to the deal.

She was meant to pay the firm through an individual voluntary arrangement.

A considerable amount of the £3.265million is owed for mortgages secured against her “Mucky Mansion” in West Sussex.

Katie is now thought to be worth less than £1million, with bankruptcy hearings revealing the true state of her finances.

In December 2019, Katie was declared bankrupt for a year and agreed to pay £12,000 a month to creditors to dig herself out of debt, but the plan failed.

She was back at a bankruptcy hearing in July 2020, confirming to the court she was living in rented accommodation costing £4,200 a month.

In January 2022, the model narrowly avoided another court appearance by paying off £7,350 worth of fines dating back three years.

And despite the 2020 court being told that she was making £45,000 per month for the past six months, she now owes £3.2 million to her creditors.

A source explained to the Mirror in January: “The court will wish to know where every penny comes from, whether that’s from selling her old clothes on Depop or stripping out of her clothes on OnlyFans.

“Only then can the court make up its mind about her ability to pay.”

Katie has explored a number of ways to help her earn some cash from her OnlyFans page, her Scented by Katie Price business, and the star’s Katie Price Equestrian business.

Recent months have also seen her set up an Instagram page in an attempt to sell official Katie Price memorabilia – from pre-worn lingerie to the wedding dress she wore to marry Peter Andre in 2005.
