Lorraine: Jamie Laing shows off his new Lorraine tattoo
Strictly star Jamie Laing tied the knot with Sophie Habboo this year, but he was previously “warned” about working alongside his wife on their popular podcast.
The 35-year-old met Sophie on the reality series Made in Chelsea and exclusively spoke to Express.co.uk about what marriage has been like so far.
The couple started a podcast together, titled Nearlyweds [now called Newlyweds], and it’s become so successful that they’re embarking on a tour around the UK next year.
Speaking about its success, Jamie said: “Sophie is the gold that makes that show work. Because she’s just funny – she honestly is the funniest person I know.
“And the fact that I get to do a show that we created together and put it out there with my wife is the best thing.
“I was kind of warned before that working together would be a real disaster,” he added.
“But actually, it’s the best thing ever.Because we communicate, we have so much fun together. And we just get to spend time together.”
He then gushed: “So she’s my rock. She’s everything.
“I feel very lucky to be married and work with that. It’s amazing.”
The couple tied the knot earlier this year in a lavish ceremony in Spain surrounded by their closest friends and family. They also got married in April at a private ceremony in London.
Jamie Laing also appeared on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, where he made it all the way to the final with pro dancer Karen Hauer.
