But he\u2019s also received plenty of backlash from fans due to his professional dancing background.<\/p>\n<p>But, as Layton and Nikita hit the dancefloor to perform their showdance, the Bad Education star received an unexpected jibe from judge Anton Du Beke.<\/p>\n<p>After their dance ended, Tess Daly went straight to Anton for feedback. The Ballroom expert said: \u201cThere\u2019s really not much to add is there? Let\u2019s be honest. I mean, what can you say?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His comments caused laughter from his fellow judges, as the star appeared to be stuck for words. Mimicking a conversation between Nikita and Layton, Anton quipped: \u201cYou\u2019ve basically gone, ummm, Layton we\u2019ve got a dance here, it\u2019s called a show dance, oh alright, that\u2019s nice, and basically we can do whatever we want. And he\u2019s gone, alright, leave it to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anton then bust a move, which had the crowd laughing as he re-enacted how he thought Layton would be dancing during rehearsals. He then continued his comments, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s just\u2026sort of ridiculous\u2026to be honest with you, it\u2019s showing off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/5119331.jpg?r=1702760225815\"><\/p>\n<p>Layton seemed to take the comments in good humour, as the camera panned to him laughing hysterically. Whilst Tess interjected by saying: \u201cThat\u2019s the point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the show reacted to Anton\u2019s comments on X, with one Twitter user agreeing, saying: \u201cThat Layton and Nikita dance. Anton Du Beke has just hit the nail on the head\u2026\u201cThat was showing off\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Another added: \u201cAnton&#8217;s right!
