Millie Radford shares video of baby daughter in hospital<\/h3>\n

22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford has sent well-wishes to her granddaughter Elodie as she continues to recover from RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) in hospital.<\/p>\n

The matriarch’s 22-year-old daughter Millie gave birth to her third child seven weeks ago, but the tot has had to stay in hospital to fight off the virus.<\/p>\n

Millie took to her Instagram to tell her 125,000 followers that Elodie had a visit from her grandmother Sue, as well as other family members.<\/p>\n

Alongside a snap of her baby girl asleep with an oxygen tube attatched to her, Millie wrote: “Elodie had a lovely visit today from her nan, auntie Aimee and big sister @theradfordfamily @radford.aimee.”<\/p>\n

Sue, 48, shared the picture on the Radford family Instagram and took the opportunity to send well-wishes to the little girl.<\/p>\n

She gushed: “Bless her get well soon beautiful princess,” alongside red love heart emojis.<\/p>\n

Just yesterday, Millie posted an RSV infographic to her followers, explaining that the condition is “a widespread virus with almost every child becoming infected with RSV in their first two years of life”.<\/p>\n

Although most who contract the virus merely have mild cold-like symptoms, a minority – particularly babies and the very elderly – suffer serious consequences, such as hospitalisation.<\/p>\n

Millie’s infographic also shared that “RSV is transmitted in a similar way to colds or the flu: either by breathing in tiny droplets in the air or by the virus getting in contact with mouth or nose, for example by touch”.<\/p>\n
