Sue shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram earlier this week for Baby Loss Awareness Week. She first shared a photo of Alifie’s grave covered in beautiful flowers and stuffed toys, before she shared a black and white photo of their son’s tiny hand.

The mum of 22 captioned the snap: “Wave of light 2023. Forever our missing heartbeat, Alfie Thomas Radford.”

While there were many fans who sent loving and supportive messages to the Radford family, some trolls also left shocking and nasty comments.

One person commented on the emotional post: “Again?? What's the occasion? No content?”

Sue shared a screenshot of the comment and said in response to the troll: “People like this are really mentally not ok. They must have such incredibly sad life and for that I feel sorry for you.”

Sue added: “I will never stop talking about Alfie. He is our son who is loved and missed.”

Fans of the family also jumped to their defence, as one person commented: “No parent will ever forget the loss of their child. I pray that you will never have to experience the heartache of losing a child you sick f**k!!”, while another said: “Why does there need to be an occasion, pretty sure not a minute or day goes by they don't think of their little boy! Seriously need to wise up before commenting s**t.”

A third added: “Are you seriously questioning why they are remembering their son? Do you have any empathy or are you just an idiot troll? I lost my 6 month old boy a long time ago but I still put little things up on my socials. How dare you even question if someone wishes to do that. Try showing a little empathy in your life if you're able.”
