The former Geordie Shore star has just swapped her highlighted, ashy brunette colour for something extremely glossy and a little bit spicy: a reddish copper tinge that hair experts have labelled a 'pumpkin spice' tone.

Revealing the look on her Instagram page, Chloe captions the first shot of the series: "Paint the town red".

Fans have been quick to respond to Chloe in the comment section, with a few mentioning the look is more of a coppery/auburn tone rather than a block red.

A third writes: "Your hair looks amazing Chloe, definitely suits you," with a fourth adding: "This is deffo your colour – brings me back to your first season of Geordie Shore".

If you want to know what the exact definition of a pumpkin spice colour is, Tyler Moore, expert stylist at Live True London, explains: “This tone reflects the warm hues of pumpkin spiced lattes and autumn leaves, so it’s no wonder salons are seeing an influx of requests for auburn and rust shades this season.

“There are so many different ways to do copper and auburn hair, from an allover colour to a more subtle auburn balayage. It’s a look you can really make your own.”

And if you’re wondering whether your skin tone will suit a warmer tone, the answer is likely yes. “Auburns and coppers look good on a variety of skin tones – the shade can be adjusted to look stunning on any complexion,” Tyler says.

The colour really took off last year when Cheryl posted her own PSL hair makeover. The singer had long favoured a chunky side fringe, but her new style looked shorter than usual with the bangs skimming just above her cheekbones. As for her colour, It looked like the singer had been getting in the Halloween spirit by opting for the warm shade of auburn.
