When he shared the video to X, Elon was amongst the first to respond commenting: \u201cOf course. They don\u2019t like competition.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the clip, Russell explains the allegations concern a time years ago when he was working in movies and the mainstream media.<\/p>\n
“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
“During that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And I’m being transparent about it now as well.<\/p>\n
“And to see that transparency metastasise into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question if there is another agenda at play.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the tech entrepreneur has faced criticism for refusing to allow his Starlink internet system to be used by Ukrainian armed forces to conduct long-range offensive strikes.<\/p>\n The refusal enraged officials in Kyiv, who have blamed Musk for the deaths of children and for “committing evil”.<\/p>\n On Tuesday (September 12) the billionaire owner of SpaceX, which operates Starlink satellites, appeared to shift the blame onto United States President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n Speaking at the All-In Summit in Los Angeles, Musk said U.S. sanctions on Russia mean the Starlink satellite connection near Crimea could not be turned on for a Ukrainian military operation without permission from the U.S. president<\/p>\n
