Halle Bailey<\/strong> is speaking out about being in love for the first time in a new magazine cover story.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old actress and singer has been in a relationship with rapper DDG<\/strong> for nearly two years now, and while the two have had ups and downs in the public eye, and faced many rumors, they’re still going strong and in love.<\/p>\n

In a new interview, Halle<\/strong> dished on how being in love has been an inspiration for her music.<\/p>\n

Check out what she shared inside…<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll musical inspiration really just comes from life experiences,” Halle shared with Cosmopolitan<\/em>. “Love has been a really big one for me too, because that\u2019s something I\u2019m experiencing for the first time, and it\u2019s, like, \u2018whoa\u2019 in your brain. It\u2019s just fireworks, a spark for creativity. You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that\u2019s love. But this is my first deep, deep, real love.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same interview, Halle<\/strong> talked about growing up in the public eye, transitioning to more mature content and people having so many opinions about her life.<\/p>\n

“There will always be a conversation because I started so young. There\u2019s a sort of protectiveness or ownership that people feel they have over your story because they\u2019ve known you for so long. Part of me thinks that\u2019s a beautiful thing, to know that you have that support from people and they just want to see good things happen to you,” she said. “But it\u2019s also really easy for us to comment on what other people are doing…to say a lot of stuff. I think the transition will continue to happen naturally. It\u2019s on people to figure it out, not necessarily on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Halle<\/strong> and DDG <\/strong>faced breakup rumors, among other online rumors.<\/p>\n

She also opened up about being in love in another interview ahead of The Little Mermaid<\/em>‘s release…<\/p>\n
