Alison Hammond has opened up about her changing attitude as she\u2019s \u201cgetting to the age\u201d where she would like to commit to a partner and get married.<\/p>\n
The This Morning presenter, 48, revealed that she had previously gotten \u201ccold feet\u201d when faced with the prospect of marriage, but now wants to \u201clet go\u201d of her trepidation.<\/p>\n
She confessed: \u201cI think as soon as I hear the word marriage, I get cold feet. I think I\u2019m just one of those people. I always think there\u2019s something better but get a bit nervous to know \u2018that is it\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just feel like I\u2019m tied down and I don\u2019t like it, when really and truly I\u2019m getting to that age now where I think, \u2018Alison, let go \u2013 it\u2019s OK to settle down\u2019,\u201d she added to Gyles Brandreth on his Rosebud podcast.<\/p>\n
Alison also clarified that she was never married to the father of her son, Noureddine Boufaied.<\/p>\n

She fell pregnant with Aiden, 18, three years later.<\/p>\n Alison continued to Gyles: \u201cA lot of people think I\u2019ve been married\u2026 I\u2019ve never been married… It was the perfect time but I don\u2019t feel like we were ready.<\/p>\n \u201c[Noureddine] had the most beautiful smile and that\u2019s what I fell in love with\u2026 Aiden\u2019s got that smile as well.\u201d<\/p>\n As for why she hasn\u2019t felt the desire to get married up until now, the Birmingham-born star explained she \u201cloves her own company\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you.
