Stacey Dooley issues apology to fans after saga with show tickets

Stacey Dooley says she is Anne of Cleves

Stacey Dooley has said sorry after there was an issue with tickets for her event yesterday at The Barbican, London.

The presenter, who recently welcomed her first child with boyfriend Kevin Clifton, insisted the issue would be “sorted asap”.

On her Instagram story, Stacey shared the flyer from the event that would see her interviewed by Katie Piper.

The production company behind the event typed: “We are aware of an issue regarding tickets for tonight’s event at The Barbican Centre with Stacey Dooley.

“For any customers who haven’t received their tickets. Please email [email protected] to contact our Customer Service Team. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”

In response, Stacey replied: “Urghhhh SO SORRY. Should be sorted ASAP. So sorry for saga and see you tonight!”(sic)

Stacey is currently visiting venues across the UK with her In Conversation with Stacey Dooley show.

She previously explained that she is still breastfeeding baby Minnie and is therefore on a tight schedule after leaving the stage for the evening.

She told her 1.1 million followers last week: “I’m so sorry I can’t stop and properly hang out with you all after the shows.

“I’m flying solo with my baby and she’s still on the boob so I have to rush off stage and get straight in a cab to feed her.

“I’m SO SO SO GRATEFUL to every single person that comes along. I truly am.

“Please don’t think I’m being big-time. I’m just tryna juggle atm… so I’m genuinely sorry if I can’t sign books or have a selfie.”(sic)

As for the “flying solo” part, that’s because Stacey’s partner Kevin (who she raised the Glitterball trophy with on Strictly Come Dancing five years ago) is currently on the road himself with Strictly Ballroom: The Musical.

Meanwhile, Kevin was recently on Good Morning Britain and, despite the couple being largely private about their relationship, he was full of praise for his girlfriend.

He told Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: “[Stacey] is amazing. I’ve been on tour in Aberdeen last week, come back just for the day on Sunday and spent the day with them.

“I’m absolutely exhausted from it.”
