Darren Clarke, 31, was gunned down in the early hours of Thursday morning in the village of Gillingham in south Hull. His murder is being treated as murder and it emerged yesterday that a third man has been reported missing. Darren, of Moseley Road, was the youngest of four children. A third man, who was also shot during the raid, remains in hospital in a critical condition after he was shot during the raid. Kelvin Thompson, who lives opposite to the petrol station where the three men were shot, said he heard a bang from his roof that seemed to wake him up. He saw one of the men carrying a weapon through the front door and another going up to the drivers window. He said: I saw the man with a rifle in his hands walking alongside the vehicle and then I heard a bang in the back of my own house and immediately got out of bed and went to the front door. He said he heard more gunshots followed by loud shouting from the building. The man who was with the gun went up the drive way and I think he jumped on the bonnet of the car or got out of the car and was still shouting things. Within a matter of minutes, I got dressed and went to my garden wall to look out for something. I saw a man, who I now know as Darren, lying on the ground.
