The Rolling Stones have earned their 14th No. 1 album on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart this week with Hackney Diamonds.
Having earned 72,200 chart units in its debut, Hackney Diamonds marks the third biggest week of sales for an album so far this year.
Rolling Stones’ first album in 18 years, Hackney Diamonds is also their first after the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021, featuring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.
With the latest achievement, the Rolling Stones join the ranks of Robbie Williams as bands/artists with 14 No. 1 albums on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.
Hackney Diamonds also tops this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart.
At No. 2, Blink-182‘s ninth studio album One More Time… became their highest-charting record on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart featuring the Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus line-up.
It is followed by Bombay Bicycle Club‘s My Big Day at No. 3. The album also tops this week’s Official Record Store Chart.
