Peter Andre was a proud dad as he showed off his family Saturday night on the red carpet of the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.
The 48 year old beamed as he arrived at the event with wife Emily and his children Princess, 14, and Junior, 16. Peter’s youngest two children he shares with Emily were not in attendance.
The whole family were dressed in their finest, with Peter looking dapper in a black three-piece suit and Emily utterly glamorous in a silver-sequinned halter-neck gown.
Junior matched his dad’s sleek ensemble, wearing a navy blue, paisley three-piece suit and bow tie, while Princess wore a minimal halter-neck dress with her blonde hair in a high ponytail.
“This is Princess' first red carpet,” Peter explained at the event.
“It’s also the first and last time she'll EVER be glammed up!”
His jokey announcement comes as a predictable attitude from any dad watching their young daughter getting older.
Peter was clearly proud of Princess despite this remark, posting a close-up photo on Instagram of his daughter on the red carpet.
"Beautiful. My daughter all grown up,” he captioned.
Peter has been open about struggling with Princess becoming interested in glamming up, mentioning before that he wishes she’d embrace her natural beauty.
Peter insisted though in a recent Instagram photo he posted of Princess that she does not wear make-up most of the time on social media.
"Can I be more proud of you my daughter?” he captioned.
"Btw, I don’t know what she did to this picture, but one thing's for sure, she is NOT wearing makeup.
“And damn you made me look good. Anyways, love you so much @officialprincess_andre."
The TV personality has spoken out before about being against his 14 year old daughter indulging in beauty practices.
"Every dad out there dreads the moment their daughters get to be teenagers,” he has said.
