After fans questioned why Tommy Fury was wearing sliders while out for some rainy-day pumpkin shopping, Molly-Mae Hague took to Instagram to reveal that his toenail had fallen off.
Molly-Mae and her boyfriend, Tommy Fury, had a busy weekend as they went pumpkin shopping, caught brunch and cosied up for a cheeky Saturday cinema trip.
On Saturday, many fans wondered why the boxer was wearing sliders and no socks in the middle of October.
But as Molly-Mae later revealed on her story, Tommy’s toenail fell off in the morning, and it was presumably painful to walk on.
She said: “All of you wondering why Tommy was wearing sliders… his toenail fell off this morning.
“It’s a fragile topic, quite literally…”
Disaster struck again later in the day as Molly-Mae and Tommy’s restaurant of choice didn’t allow joggers, and as she put it, “nothing else fits.”
“Let’s hope I can get away with stretchy trousers,” she added.
After a busy Saturday, the couple seemingly had a chill Sunday and did some mild interior designing followed by some play time with the cat.
This comes after Molly-Mae, who is believed to be around six months pregnant, took to her YouTube channel to answer some fan questions.
While admitting that baby number one “wasn’t specifically planned but she also wasn’t not planned,” the Pretty Little Thing creative director said she struggled to find contraception that works for her.
She explained: “I have not been on contraception now for coming up to about three and a half years. Pretty much the whole of mine and Tommy’s relationship, I have not been on contraception.
“That’s just because with my endometriosis and other things, I never really found a contraception that worked for me – I tried a couple of different pills and, for me personally, I never found anything that quite agreed with my body.”
According to the NHS, Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue grows in places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
She added: “Because Tommy and I were quite open about the idea of having a baby – it’s something that we’ve wanted literally from day one of meeting one another – we were very comfortable with the idea of me not being on contraception and potentially having a baby because of that.”
