Piers Morgan has taken aim at the new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix documentary, branding it "worse than Keeping Up With The Kardashians".
The controversial self-titled six-part series, Harry & Meghan, aired for the first time today (December 8) at 8am.
And the TalkTV host, 57, wasted no time in giving his critique.
Taking to Twitter, he posted: "This is worse than Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Something I didnât think was humanly possible. #HarryandMeghanonNetflix"
It comes after Piers admitted he felt "traumatised" after "Princess Pinocchio & Prince Hypocrite" used his voice in the trailer for their series.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter said: "BREAKING: Princess Pinocchio & Prince Hypocrite use my voice to flog their ghastly new series. Iâm traumatised by this exploitation."
The series has also attracted criticism from Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams, who branded the documentary a âdestructive act of revengeâ .
He toldMailOnline: "This is a full frontal, extremely destructive attack on the Royal Family – the institution as well as individual households and members of those households. This series I suspect will greatly weaken the royals in the eyes of the world, especially among young people.â
Speaking about Harry and brother William's tense relationship, Richard admitted that he believes the series will "widen the rift" between the pair.
He also added: "There is no doubt that this Netflix series is an amazing act of revenge designed to weaken the very institution that William will inherit as future King."
TheRoyal Family have been bracing themselvesfor the bombshells revealed in the documentary with reports claiming thePalace âwill move swiftlyâ if Harry & Meghan makes direct attack on Kate .
Royal expert Michael Cole said: âWhat will trigger that is if there are direct attacks on his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, I think that might trigger it."
The show is being released in two parts with the second instalment being released on 15 December.
