Maya Is Doing A Great Job
I started watching Love Island but then I just faded out of it, although I love it.
But Emily, Princess and I are also watching the Australian one and we’ve secretly got more into that. It’s just too hard to keep up with two series!
Some people think it’s too much to have two series a year, but I think it’s always entertaining and people are obviously watching it.
From the episodes I’ve seen, I have to say Maya Jama is incredible on the show. She’s doing a great job.
Keeping Busy
I’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio recently working on my album. The aim is for it to be released this year.
I’ve been working on it with lots of different people so expect a few surprises.
For those who’ve asked if Junior will be featuring on the album, I’d say I want him to go on his own path.
It’s important he focuses on his own music and he has some big things coming this year, including releasing his next single and potentially his debut album.
I’ve also been busy working on my 30th anniversary shows and I’ll be on Good Morning Britain this week discussing my milestone.
With my 50th also next month, I really want to pack everything in and celebrate. Come with me and enjoy the ride.
Oscars Hits And Misses
It was great to see Brendan Fraser nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Whale.
It is so well deserved and the fact that he disappeared from the spotlight for a while and has now made such a huge comeback is amazing.
I have to say I was surprised Tom Cruise wasn’t nominated for Best Actor for his role in Top Gun: Maverick.
The film is incredible and he’s brilliant in it. I also can’t not mention Austin Butler. Elvis is one of the best films I’ve been to in a long time and is so touching.
Elvis was a huge inspiration to me when I was younger and I thought Austin’s performance was amazing.
You may start off watching the film thinking he doesn’t look exactly like Elvis, but by halfway through you’re convinced he really is Elvis. It just goes to show what an unbelievable actor Austin is.
Brilliant Bruno
Bruno Tonioli is the perfect new judge for Britain’s Got Talent. He’s larger than life and so funny, so he will bring a lot to the panel.
The thing about Bruno is that he’s worked with everyone, including Elton John and Tina Turner, so he knows talent when he sees it.
He’s also a fair judge and when he judged me on Strictly I thought he was brilliant work to with.
He’s such a good addition and I can’t wait to watch him on the show.
