Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 50, has addressed the moment her baby girl was born, revealing that during the “special moment”, she had music playing by Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley. Speaking on her YouTube series No Filter with guest D-Nice, the star opened up about the importance music has in her life, as well as its significance during the birth of her daughter last week.

Speaking on her podcast, the star told how she turns to music during “special moments” of her life.
She also revealed what was playing at the moment her daughter was born.
Naomi said: “I just became a mum, I had Bob Marley playing”.
She also emphasised the role Bob Marley’s music has had on her due to her “roots”.
The star continued: “Music is like… In my most special moments, you know I just became a mum, I had Bob Marley playing. That’s my roots, you know? It’s my roots.”
Last week, the superstar sent fans into a frenzy after she posted a picture revealing that she had welcomed a baby girl.
The model wrote: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.
“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel.
Naomi ended the caption: “There is no greater love.”
The 50-year-old shared the exciting news in view of her 10.4 million followers and was met with an overwhelming number of comments from well wishers.
Naomi shared a sweet snap of her daughter, showing a glimpse of her feet, which the supermodel cradled in her hands.
The model then tagged her own mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell into the post, but gave no further details.
Fans and celebrity pals alike flocked to comment on the post, as they offered their congratulations.
Munroe Bergdof penned: “Congratulations Naomi.”
Infleuncer Patricia Bright echoed a similar sentiment, saying: “So happy for you.”
Actress Ryan Destiny added: “Omg!! Congrats mama! Love you.”(sic)
Shortly after the surprise announcement, the star declared she is ready to begin a “new chapter” in her life during an episode of her YouTube series.
During a YouTube stream of her No Filter interview with Diane von Furstenberg, Naomi addressed her followers, as she said she was “honoured and humbled” after their kind messages.
She told her fans to “take notes” of the “life lessons” from Diane and added: “BLESS YOU ALL.”
In the chat during the streaming of the YouTube video, according to the Daily Star, Naomi wrote: “Hello my darlings, thank you so much for the pre-birthday wishes …and for my new chapter as a mother, I’m honoured and humbled.”
