Nancy Pelosi Under Fire for Attending Maskless Wedding of Oil Heiress Ivy Getty

The House Speaker officiated the wedding of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty’s great granddaughter and photographer Tobias Alexander Engel, which was also attended by California Gov. Gavin Newsom and San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

AceShowbiz -Nancy Pelosi has caught the heat for her appearance at a maskless wedding, while children in her state are forced to mask up. The House Speaker was spotted not wearing a mask as she mingled with guests at the lavish nuptials of oil heiress Ivy Love Getty and photographer Tobias Alexander Engel over the weekend.

After her pictures at the wedding surfaced online, Nancy was slammed as hypocrite for going maskless at the event, while California students are required to wear masks. “And why were guests able to do this?” Reopen California Schools tweeted on Tuesday, November 9 along with a picture of Pelosi in a large group without a mask. “Maskless indoors when school dances across California are cancelled and kids must keep masks on 7 hours/day including outside at recess in many parts of CA including in SF.”

Reopen California Schools founder Jonathan Zachreson told Fox News Digital that Nancy celebrating maskless while children are forced to wear masks is “infuriating.” He said, “Parents have reached a boiling point. They are just so done, and when you see Nancy Pelosi and these other wealthy individuals’ total disregard for the rule and lack of consideration for what our children are going through, it’s so defeating and infuriating.”

Reason editor Liz Wolfe pointed out the biased rules as tweeting, “Gavin Newsom, London Breed, Nancy Pelosi all in attendance, hobnobbing with the maskless hordes, at this extremely posh billionaire heiress wedding. But hey, let’s make sure San Francisco’s kids mask up in schools.”

Another called out Nancy, as well as California Gov. Gavin Newsom and San Francisco Mayor London Breed who also attended the wedding. “Democrats @SpeakerPelosi, Calif Gov @GavinNewsom & mayor @LondonBreed, as well as most all the guests, are maskless at lavish wedding in San Francisco. HYPOCRITES!” the said person wrote on Twitter.

Another echoed, “hypocritical b***h @SpeakerPelosi has to GO #termlimitsforcongress getthef**kout f**k the @DNC scum.” Someone else added, “@SpeakerPelosi maskless and mingling at 1%er’s wedding while @DNC demands masks at congress and penalizing others! @DNC #DNCHypocracy.”

The state of California’s most recent mask update in September says, “Masks are required for unvaccinated people and recommended for everyone in indoor public places, like: retail, restaurants, theaters, family entertainment centers, meetings, State and local government offices that serve the public.”

Meanwhile, in October, the city of San Francisco relaxed indoor mask requirements for religious gatherings if everyone in attendance is vaccinated, but only for groups of less than 100 people. It’s unclear how many people were present the wedding of Ivy Getty, but at least 60 people could be seen in the overhead photo that featured Nancy. Other photos obtained by Vogue show more than 100 chairs arranged at the wedding.

Ivy, who is the great granddaughter of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, tied the knot with Tobias in San Francisco’s City Hall on Saturday, November 6. Nancy officiated the wedding, where the bride rocked a non-traditional dress made of glass shards by John Galliano. Anya Taylor-Joy served as the maid of honor.
