Maisie Smith labelled attention-seeking by Ulrika in unprompted swipe at SAS star

Ulrika Jonsson is unafraid to let everyone know her opinions on fellow celebrities.

She's previously called Alexandra Burke 'attention-seeking' for not revealing baby's gender, accused Meghan Markle of 'ditching feminist principles' to further her career and described Molly-Mae Hague as 'pointless'.

Now, she's turned her attention to former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith in a seemingly random swipe.

In her The Sun column, Ulrika revealed her distaste at Maisie's decision to post a video of herself crying on TikTok, which was soundtracked by Omar Apollo's Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me at All).

Following the crying videos, Maisie mouthed the words, "You Didn't Deserve Me At All", and wrote in the caption, "Nothing but happiness these days."

The video caused some fans to believe she was experiencing issues with boyfriend Max George.

Ulrika wrote: "Now, Maisie’s not the first sleb to engage in this kind of attention-seeking nonsense and I doubt she’ll be the last."

She continued: "I certainly can’t imagine reaching for my phone mid-personal drama to ensure I captured my tearful moment for people to see.

"Surely, sadness, mourning, personal trauma or grieving is something private – not something you milk?

"To do what Maisie did, which was to accompany her tears with a cryptic message and dramatic music which had everyone tearing their hair out with concern for her, fraught with anxiety – and then in a subsequent post to be pictured snogging the face off her boyfriend as if nothing had happened at all, is insulting."

She went on to compare the video to "the boy who cried wolf".

Maisie and The Wanted Singer Max are currently holidaying together in Cyprus on what she has dubbed a "baecation".

A recent snap of Maisie, 21, and Max, 34 has actually got their fans questioning if they've taken the next step and gotten engaged – the very opposite of splitting up.

In a photo posted on Max's Instagram, Maisie, appeared to have a diamond ring sitting on the wedding finger of her left hand, prompting their fans to go into overdrive with speculation.

One person commented: "Is that an engagement ring?" whilst another said: "I thought the same".

A third questioned: "Is that a ring? On your RING FINGER?!"

The pair haven't been shy about showing off their love since getting together in the summer, with Max clearly getting the seal of approval from Maisie's family, as they are joined by Maisie's mum and sister on the Greek island.
