The 2021 Grammys are set to take place in just a few hours on Sunday (March 14), and we’re taking a look back at what music’s biggest night looked like ten years ago at the 2011 Grammys.
The big winners of that night included Lady A (“Need You Now” won Song and Record of the Year), Arcade Fire (The Suburbs won Album of the Year), and Best New Artist Esperanza Spalding.
There were lots of performances from stars like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Drake, Miranda Lambert and Usher, as well as a superstar tribute to Aretha Franklin from Yolanda Adams, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and Florence Welch.
Many other stars were in attendance at the annual event that year as well, including Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Jamie Foxx, Keith Urban, Gwyneth Paltrow, Janelle Monae, Eminem, Bruno Mars, Kim Kardashian, Adam Lambert, will.i.am, Eva Longoria, Keri Hilson, Kelly Osbourne, Chace Crawford, Miley Cyrus, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, Nick Jonas and Mary J. Blige.
If you missed it, be sure to check out the presenters, performers and all the nominees for this year’s ceremony.
