Katie Price has caused outrage on social media after posting a number of pictures of her daughter, Bunny, in a face full of heavy make-up.

The star, who posed in a gorgeous festive family photoshoot for us here, took to her Instagram account to post the snaps on Boxing Day, showing her youngest daughter rocking some heavy eyeshadow, lip liner, lipstick and gloopy mascara-laden eyelashes.

She wrote: “My daughters today @officialprincess_andre using her new make on Bunny Bops”

However, her spot was met with some angry responses from fans, including some who accused her of posting the images simply to be controversial and gain a response.

“I’m convinced Katie just does this for all the publicity and backlash! Why else?” wrote one.

While another added: “I swear it’s done on purpose to get negative comments.” And a third wrote: “She posts this just to get a reaction out of people – this is bait to keep her relevant.”

Others, though, were outraged by the pictures themselves, with someone writing: “Oh dear, I don’t usually comment negative but this goes too far in my eyes.”

And one more wrote: “Oh god Katie I love you but this is too much. Let her play with make up fine, and smudge it over her face, but this is not right.”

Katie opened up this week, revealing that her old alter-ego Jordan “makes her sick” and that she was planning on a sober Christmas.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ”I wrote a powerful letter because they make you do that to your demons.

"I don’t even think about doing it now. It makes me feel sick; I’ll be the best person now. What I mean is, I’m focused and back to normal."

"I’ve started working again and it’s going well. I’m happy and the kids have seen a difference.

"I used to love a Tia Maria and Coke on Christmas Day, or a porn star martini, and I didn’t even think about it.

Her home does not have any alcohol inside at all, as the star went on to explain: "There’s no alcohol in my house at all, we don’t drink. This is just the new normal for me.

"I look back to how I was, and I would never ever wish that on anyone. I never knew when I’d had enough and I’d become all exhibitionist — I don’t ever want to be like that again.

"I’ve grown, I’m stronger and I don’t need to run away or numb my emotions any more.

"It’s been a bad year for a lot of people, but for me it’s been a good year because I’ve met Carl and I sorted myself out."
