Jane McDonald returns to our screens in her latest travel series titled Weekends Away, which sees the star reveal her favourite destinations for a short getaway. But while Jane is back on our screens what is known of her relationship with partner Walter “Eddie” Rothe and are they still together?
Is Jane McDonald still with her partner?
Jane and partner Walter Rothe who is better known as “Eddie” have been together since 2007.
They dated as teenagers but broke things off as their careers took them on different paths.
However, after 27 years, the couple reunited in a chance encounter as Eddie was a guest on Loose Women while Jane was on the panel.

The couple are currently engaged after Eddie popped the question in 2008.
Jane has previously spoken of his proposal in her 2019 autobiography Riding The Waves, My Story.
Jane wrote: “Suddenly, Ed cleared his throat and put his hand in his pocket.
“‘Jane, you are definitely the one for me, and I should have done this 26 years ago,’ he said. ‘Will you marry me?’
“I was so overwhelmed that I started crying. Then Ed started crying!
“People around us were mortified – thinking we’d split up.
“No, no, he’s just asked me to marry him!’ I said, laughing through the tears.”
While they have been together for 12 years, the couple is yet to tie the knot.

Jane has previously admitted Eddie has always been the one for her.
She said told Prima magazine: “My other half Ed was my childhood sweetheart.
“We had those sliding doors moments for years. We were in the same places, but we just never met.
“I’ve had a few mishaps relationship-wise, By God, when you find the right one you certainly know it.
“I’ve been with Ed for 12 years, that’s a miracle for me! He makes me feel like a teenager again.
“He’s still gorgeous and I can see what I went for all those years ago.”
Jane McDonald’s Weekends Away will air tonight on Channel 5 at 8pm.
