I’m a Celebs Owen Warner has fans in hysterics again with hilarious blunder

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star Owen Warner has left fans in hysterics yet again, after he made a blunder on Wednesday’s episode of the show.

The handsome 23 year old has delighted viewers throughout the series for his one-liners.

The jokey quips returned on Wednesday, as Owen and his campmates were met with an unwelcome arrival in the jungle, in the latest episode.

A giant lizard had found its way into camp, and Owen just couldn’t get the name of the reptile right as he discussed the new visitor in the Bush Telegraph.

Owen kept referring to the lizard as a “Salamalander” — instead of the correct term salamander — and fans shared their amused reactions to the funny slip-up soon afterwards, on social media.

One person wrote: “’Salamanander’ Owen Warner you never fail to make me laugh #ImACeleb”.

A second said: “@_OwenWarner saying a Salamanander on #ImACeleb has to one of the best things ever #class”.

A third commented: “Salamalander? Owen, babe, it's a salamander”, as another added: "SALAMALANDER' Crying Owen."

Earlier in the series, Owen was involved in another hilarious incident with evicted campmate Scarlette Douglas.

When told she was from A Place in the Sun, Owen responded, "Oh yeah, whereabouts?".

Owen’s latest blunder comes after he admitted he’d been saying the word ‘jetlag’ wrong for years.

The Hollyoaks star had previously said that he’d been saying ‘jetlack’, instead of the correct pronunciation.

Owen’s confession led some viewers to think he is “putting on an act”, but his brother Louis insisted on Lorraine this isn’t the case.

Louis said on the show: "He does have his ditsy moments but he’s not stupid at all. He’s actually really switched on.

"But his brain works in a different way so he might come across as, well you might think 'that’s a bit stupid'. But sometimes you then think, in his own way, it makes a bit of sense."

Speaking on his brother’s generally positive reception in the jungle, Louis added: "It’s nice to see him so welcomed when he is being himself, because back at home he is so precious, and the whole of the UK is finding out.

"He’s brilliant, and I’m so happy the rest of the UK is warming to him.”

Louis added: “The fact that he’s still in there is a true testament to who he is as a person. He’s been able to capture the audience.

“I think he’s going to be really touched and it’s going to give him a lot of confidence.”
