Helen Skelton, 35, urged fans “not to accept” any friend requests that might come their way appearing to have been sent by herself. The Countryfile star warned her 194,000 followers on Instagram that a catfish is using her sizzling snaps to lure in none the wiser social media users.

Helen shared a photo of the fake account, which showed a grid of identical photos to ones on her verified profile.
Next to the screenshot, Helen wrote in bold: “FAKE.”
Before adding a second story to explain the situation, she explained: “I don’t have a new account…
“If we are friends don’t accept a request from a new account in my name.”

The star also shared a GIF with her comments that said: “Mijibucks Coffee,” a clear parody of Starbucks Coffee.
Although it is not clear who is behind the catfish profile, it has already accumulated eight followers and follows 30 accounts.
It is notoriously difficult to remove fake accounts off Instagram, as the site requires multiple users to report a profile before considering deleting it.
Only recently Gardeners’ World host Monty Don encountered the same problem, as he urged followers not to accept any requests from an unverified account with his name on it.
Meanwhile, Helen today uploaded more pictures of her extensive house renovations.
In the latest series of photographs, the presenter showed herself against a stone wall, as she joked: “Helps take down one ceiling thinks she knows about construction…”(sic)
In several other snaps across the collage, her young children were seen wearing cute masks and goggles while holding utensils.
She explained: “For the first time since feb my eldest has activities (we took him out of school before they closed so this is his first time out of the family bubble…… sort of glad sort of sad).
