Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose is set to face court for the sexual assault of a Penthouse model.
Sheila Kennedy, who posed for the magazine back in the late 1980s, has claimed Rose targeted her at a party before the violent attack in 1989.
In court documents obtained by Daily Express US, Kennedy claims Rose ‘used his fame, status and power […] to gain access to manipulate, control and violently sexually assault’ her.
She claims the pair first met at a New York nightclub in February 1989, where after getting into conversation Rose invited her back to his hotel room without her friend, who he deemed ‘not hot enough’.
Once at the suite, the party continued with Rose providing cocaine, champagne and alcohol.
She noted that while she was open to the idea of sleeping with him that night, but things took a turn when Rose cleared the hotel room except for her and another model and he began aggressively having sex in front of her.
Andrew “Riki” Rachtman, a friend of Rose’s who was with him in New York, was also present.
When Kennedy made it clear she was not interested in group sex, she left the room and joined Rachtman.
She claims at this point, they overheard Rose getting violent, demanding the third woman who was still in the room with him leave.
She claims she heard Rose call the unnamed second woman a ‘f**king w***e’ and throwing glass around the room.
When he saw Kennedy was still in the suite, she claims Rose dragged her by the hair back to the hotel room before violently assaulting her.

Kennedy said the evening had long-standing mental trauma, triggering anxiety and depression after the intense physical and emotional distress.
She also said it resulted in her losing work as she developed a fear of men and social situations which were prevelant to her job.
Kennedy is now demanding a jury trial, in the hopes of obtaining compensatory damages from Rose in such sums as a jury would find fair, just, and adequate.
Daily Express US has reached out to Rose’s reps for comment.
