Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes' husband Gregg has died at the age of 66, it has sadly been confirmed.
Gregg has been battling colon cancer, and passed away on Wednesday, his publicist confirmed in a statement.
His publicist Ernest Dukes said: "Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart.
"After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes.
"We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family and allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time."
Gregg was first diagnosed with stage three colon caner in 2018, entering remission a year later. However, in June, Nene confirmed his cancer had returned.
He and Nene married in 1997 before divorcing in 2011. They then reconciled and married again in 2013.
Gregg and Nene's 22 year old son Brentt took to Instagram to pay tribute to his father ahead of his death, writing: "Time is so…valuable dog. I can't express it. I’m learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day.
"Please go create memories with ya people."
The news of Gregg's sad passing comes just days after reality star Nene told fans her husband was "transitioning to the other side."
Making her way through a club earlier this week, an onlooker allegedly called Nene "rude" for not wishing their friend a happy birthday.

"So, when people approach and say 'you're rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday' — my husband is at home dying. I don't want to say 'happy birthday'.
"My husband is losing his life right now. My husband will not be here in the next couple of days."
