The YouTube video, apparently shot by a friend of Johnsons friend and a few friends whom he was going out with, went viral within the hours, receiving over 70,000 hits and counting. A representative from YouTube, who only wished to be identified by his first name, Dave, told us they have investigated the video as well as the identity of the person who uploaded it. The video in question does not belong to Justin, Dave told us. We were able to get a better idea about how he made the video and how he was able to obtain the footage from an article that was published in the Daily Mail this week. The Daily Mail article details the story of the photographer who took the video and how he came to be featured in the video. Justin Johnson was out with his friends at a bar near his home in New Jersey the night he made the video. He was apparently hanging around by chance and was introduced to a woman who he said looked like Julia Roberts. She was really hot and I was drunk, Johnson told the Daily Mail. Johnson said he ended up following her home and was surprised to find that Roberts actually lived in his town. I saw a Craigslist ad looking for someone to do a video for their birthday and I decided to do it, he told the Daily Mail. The woman he was with at the time, who he only goes by Mary, is the woman featured in the video. After the video was shot, Johnson said he and another friend went out to grab something to eat in a local fast food joint. He said they left the restaurant and walked back towards his house, where Johnson said they noticed two police cars on the street and that he couldnt believe it was his own home. Johnson said he was trying to keep a low profile and that when he showed the video to his friend, she wasnt too sure. I tried to make a joke about it to her and I told her it would be funny if she ended up on some show on TV talking about it, Johnson said. Johnson told us he was aware that he was being filmed that day and said hes happy the video was shot with some friends around because at the time, he wouldve been afraid to expose himself and wouldve rather done it on his own. He told the Daily Mail that he had no intention of putting the video online and just wanted to make someone happy. According to The Daily Mail article, the YouTube video had over 50,000 views in a few days. It has also been shared thousands of times by other users. However, Johnson says the video is fake, and the woman he was with is not Julia Roberts. He was aware of the backlash that would come after he released the video.
