Dr Alex George says he’s ‘trying to process’ tragic death of brother as he is flooded with messages of support

Dr Alex George has admitted he is “trying to process” his brother’s tragic death in a heartbreaking message.

The 30 year old NHS doctor took to his Instagram story to thank fans and friends for their support after announcing the loss of his younger sibling Llŷr to mental health, but has revealed he “can’t reply yet”.

In a heartbreaking message on his Instagram story, he wrote: “Thank you for all the messages of kindness here and to my phone.

“I am incredibly grateful of the of the support and it means so much.

“I am sorry that I can’t reply yet. I need to try and process what has happened, somehow.”

Dr Alex then ended the message with a single red heart emoji.

The reality star has been flooded with messages of support and condolences after announcing the death of his brother Llŷr on Instagram on Friday evening.

Wes Nelson wrote: “So sorry to hear this Alex! Stay strong I love you mate!”

While Jacqueline Jossa, who recently stunned in a teal bikini, added: “Such sad news, thinking of you and your whole family x”.

And Jack Fincham said: “Love you mate always on the end of the phone”.

Megan Barton Hanson wrote: “Alex I’m so sorry for yours and your families loss. I can’t put into words how heartbreaking this news is. I’m always here if you need me. Sending love,” followed by a series of red heart emojis.

As Maura Higgins added: “So sorry for your loss thinking of you and your family,” followed by a red heart emoji.

Dr Alex revealed his brother had passed away in a heartbreaking Instagram post.

He shared a photo of himself dressed in his hospital scrubs while sat with his arm around his brother.

Reality star Alex then wrote in the caption: “I can’t believe I am actually writing this post. I have lost my beautiful little brother to mental health.

“I love you so much Llŷr. The kindest and most caring soul. I was so proud of you starting medical school next month, you would have been the most incredible doctor.

“We are hurting so bad. No words can explain. As a family we are devastated. We love you and miss you so much. Please rest in peace x Our boy.”

It is believed Llŷr was 19 years old at the time of his tragic death.
