Charlotte Crosby was has revealed that she was recently hospitalised with suspected pneumonia.
The former Geordie Shore star, 33, shared the news on her Instagram Story, where she revealed that she had been struggling with a cough and chest infection for the last six weeks.
Sharing a photo of herself in a tracksuit, Charlotte wrote: "It's been a very long 5/6 weeks of on and off coughing/ chest infections. And the whole time I've been struggling I've been doing the very most work wise.
"Travelling up and down the country, trains, cars and almost planes. A couple of occasions even losing my entire voice at work. I've not been able to carry out some of the stuff I've had to."
She continued: "Only last week it just got so bad it was unbearable. Not even having 1 minute in between coughing fits!
"After 2 courses of antibiotics failed to shift anything I finally realised I had to slow the f*** down and get to hospital…
"So that's where I spent most of yesterday in and out of doctors and hospital! with suspected pneumonia. I've been able to come home now and rest at home with a new course of antibiotics.
"So this is where I shall be for the foreseeable in this @peppergirlsclub tracksuit that I never have off my back! Apologies they are just so cosy."
Charlotte's health scare comes after she revealed that she will be having a rather low-key festive season this year, with her and her family jetting off to the Maldives for Christmas day.
Last year was Charlotte's first festive period without her beloved nan, just one month after her death, which she now says was the "worst" Christmas and has led to her family deciding to head abroad this year.
Speaking to The Mirror, Charlotte said: "We're gonna do a small little tree just for Alba's sake, like a little one that you put at the table.
"This is a first time abroad I've never done a Christmas away and we're not doing any presents. It's just about making some memories, like amazing memories, on a big family holiday."
Charlotte recently opened up to OK! about being a mum and her hopes for having a second child soon.
"Being a mum is the best and easiest job I've ever done in my life," she told us. "I feel like I just slid into it like a duck to water."
She went on to discuss wedding plans following Jake's romantic proposal in Dubai earlier this year, revealing that the couple aren't in any rush to head down the aisle as Charlotte is hoping to welcome another baby instead.
"It's so exciting, I'm on cloud nine after the proposal. I am obviously excited to plan a wedding but it's definitely not in my vision for the next two years at least. I'm really wanting to have another baby first," she admitted.
