Charlotte Church wows fans as she posts selfie with identical teen daughter Ruby

Charlotte Church has wowed fans with a photo of her and her lookalike teen daughter Ruby.

Posting to Instagram, Charlotte shared a photo of herself and her daughter, showing 14 year old Ruby giving the camera a thumbs up while wearing a grey jumper, a shell necklace, gold hooped earrings and a green beanie.

Charlotte, 35, showed off her natural beauty as the mum and daughter held their faces together for the snap.

Fans were impressed by the photo, saying that Ruby and mum Charlotte look like twins.

"Is that your daughter? She’s your twin!" one commented, while another added: "It’s like a mini you Charlotte – both beautiful!"

Charlotte is mum to three children, including Ruby and brother Dexter, who's 12, with ex-fiancée Gavin Henson.

She gave birth to her third child and her first with husband Jonathon Powell, a daughter called Frida, in a home birth under a tree in August 2020.

Singer Charlotte previously admitted that she was "overconfident" about her third labour but she was quickly "b***h slapped in the face," as she struggled through the pain while she gave birth in the rain.

Speaking on Rob Beckett's and Josh Widdicombe's Parenting Hell podcast, she explained: "I did love birth, but my third birth came and b***h slapped me in the face.

"I was so unbelievably overconfident, because the first two times, I was 21 and 22, and my body knew just what to do.

"I had two home births, they were quite simple. Don't get me wrong it is still birth. It's still incredibly intense and all the rest of it.

"But it was like… the third time around. I have become a nature lover, tree hugger, or quite a deep hippy in the interim of having my first two and little baby Frida.

"So I set this birth palace outside basically among the trees. I dried flowers, it was so involved. It looked like a Baz Luhrmann set, I had candles everywhere."

Charlotte also shared how new addition to the family Frida had "connected" everyone together.

She said: "It was getting to the point before when the little ones start the process of adolescence so they start to grow away from you a bit but actually she has really connected us all and made every one a bit softer and a bit gentler."
