A new version of the movie The Post is finally set to be premiered next Friday in the United States. On the other hand, one of the stars of the movie, Matthew Rhys, has already made a cryptic tweet about the movie. The movie was released in the United Kingdom on August 10 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ansel Elgort. In the movie, Bradley Cooper plays former Washington Post reporter Ben Bradlee, with Mark Ruffalo as Bradlees deputy, Truman Capote. The movie tells the story of the war coverage in the newspaper by Bradlee, Capote and Capa. Im so happy to finally see the finished movie. We really are telling the Pemberley Mysteries with The Post. Its the first time since 1974 that a movie about the Post has been made. The movie is based on the 2014 book by former Wall Street Journal reporter Chris Kenning. The story of The Post was not covered in the original book, so this movie is a way of telling the story more. This Friday is the release of The Big Sick, which is an adaptation of the 2014 film by filmmaker Kumail Nanjiani and writer-director Barry Jenkins. The movie tells the story of Nanjianis fictionalized version of himself. The movie is inspired by the real life experience of Nanjiani. On June 3rd, the movie was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of this years lineup.
